The proposed 3rd International Conference on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (ICDSAI) 2024 represents key ingredients for the 5th Industrial Revolution. Their extensive application is dramatically changing products and services, with a large impact on labour, economy and society at all. Prof. Dr. Iyyanki V. Muralikrishna, obtained his Ph.D from the Premier Institute -Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is presently Director, Academic Programs, Haas Institute for Business Innovation, University of California Berkeley, USA. He is a former Dr Raja Ramanna Distinguished Fellow at the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), India, and He served as assistant professor in IIT Madras (1976-1979), senior scientist and Head of the Marine Applications Division, National Remote Sensing Agency, Indian Space Research Organisation (1979-1987), Professor and Founder Head of the Centre for Spatial Information Technology (CSIT) at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological (JNT) University(1990-2008), and Director of JNT University's Research and Development Centre (2005-2008). The National Coordinator for Geospatial Public Health, which is the National Networking Government of India Project. He is Professor and Founder Head of the Centre for Spatial Information Technology (CSIT) At Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (1990-2005), and Director of Research and Development Centre (2005-2008).
He has served as a guest scientist at the German Space Research Institute (DLR) and GKSS Research Centre. His present research focuses are on hyperspectral remote sensing image classification and geospatial public health management and geospatial technology applications and the National Coordinator for Geospatial Public Health, which is National Networking Government of India Project. He has published more than 50 papers in peer reviewed journals, and about 80 papers in national and international conferences. He has authored two books on Climate change and Weather Modification Technologies 2008 and Environmental management- Climate Change and contributed three chapters in the publications.
Dr. Yuvaraju Chinnam is a highly accomplished multidisciplinary expert with over 17 years of research experience across diverse fields like computer science, epidemiology, space technology, and artificial intelligence. He holds a Ph.D. in SpaceTech from JNTUK & Technion, Israel. Dr. Chinnam's expertise lies in geospatial data analysis, disease prediction modelling, machine learning, and developing AI tools. He has been working as a Research Scientist at Blue Eye Soft, USA, developing AI tools for space weather proofing and anomaly detection. He has also contributed to government-funded projects and served as a research scholar and visiting faculty at global institutions.
He is also pursuing a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change at the University of Virgin Islands, USA. With a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications, Dr. Chinnam has made significant contributions through his research publications, patents, book chapters, and conference presentations. He has mentored numerous students and serves as a consultant for various IT and EdTech startups.
Prof. Lalit Garg is an Associate Professor in Computer Information Systems at the University of Malta, Malta, and an honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool, UK. He has been a researcher at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Ulster University, UK. Prof Garg has supervised 200+ Masters' dissertations, 2 DBA and 5 PhD theses and published 150+ high-impact publications in refereed journals/conferences/books, 16 edited books and 22 patents. He has delivered numerous keynote speeches, organised/chaired international conferences, and consulted countless public and private organisations for information systems implementation and management. His research interests are business intelligence, machine learning, data science, deep learning, cloud computing, mobile computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), information systems, management science and their applications, mainly in healthcare and medical domains. He participates in many EU and locally funded projects, including a one million euro Erasmus+ Capacity-Building project in Higher Education (CBHE), titled Training for Medical Education via Innovative eTechnology (MediTec) and Malta Council of Science and Technology's Space Research Funds. The University of Malta has awarded him the 2021-22 Research Excellence Award for exploring Novel Intelligent Computing Methods for healthcare requirements forecasting, allocation and management (NICE-Healthcare)
Praahas Amin is working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department in the Department of Computer Science and Design at Canara Engineering College, Mangalore, India. He has over 11 years of experience in teaching, research and the Software Industry. His area of specialization is application of machine learning techniques for signal processing. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Human Machine Interaction, Astro-Imaging, Signal Processing and AI/ML use cases. He has publications in the area of Myoelectric Control Systems. He has guided numerous engineering undergraduate students in the area of computer vision, deep learning and machine learning. He founded a company called Flashflow Technologies OPC Private Limited that focuses on upskilling, R&D and Astronomy Outreach events.
